Open Records Request

Open Records Requests

Under the Kentucky Open Records Act, any Kentucky resident qualified under KRS 61.872 may inspect any nonexempt public record regardless of their identity and may seek enforcement of the Act if denied this right.

All requests for copies or review of public records in the custody of the Louisville Riverport Authority must be made in writing.  Requesters may use the form provided by the Attorney General (available here) or request through a letter or email.

Requests can be mailed to the address below or emailed to [email protected]

The Louisville Riverport Authority will make documents available for inspection or provide copies to requesters in accordance with KRS 61.872.  If copies are requested, those copies will be provided at actual cost not to exceed $.10 per page for standard sized black and white copies or $1.00 per page for standard sized color copies.  Documents in non-standard formats will incur higher duplication charges.  Documents stored electronically may generally be emailed to a requester at no cost, unless those documents are voluminous.

If you wish to express concerns or communicate requests other than open records requests, use the Contact form on this website.
